Our battle isn’t against discomfort or uncertainty or death. It’s not against any person or country or the devil. It’s against fear.
There’s nothing we can do about those other things - they’re a part of life. Fear doesn’t have to be. It’s a choice. And every time we make that choice we become more likely to make it again.
Cutting a new path is hard, but I believe our lives depend on disciplining ourselves to choose trust over fear.
